I challenged myself to upload a post every single weekday and I succeeded. I wasn't exactly a breeze but I really enjoyed getting stuck in and am pleased with the content I produced. Look at me being all self praising! Haha. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I'm reluctant to challenge myself to do this throughout March as I know I have a LOT on in the next 4 weeks but I'm going to give it a while. She is buried in my back garden (I paid extra for the vet to come out to our house and leave her body- well worth the expense if you are ever in this awful position as the animal is a LOT calmer) and I imagine that she is up in heaven with my Mum and Gran and her kitty Mum and any brothers and sisters she might have had. Motivational Monday #5

Very hard. After weeks of of deliberating what was best, with the support of family and friends and the advice of vets, we put our much loved cat Mindy to sleep. She was very old and living with a great many health problems and everybody told me it was the kindest thing to do for her. It didn't feel kind though. It felt hateful and cruel and wrong.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I didn't like having power over someone's life like that. I felt like I was playing God and making decisions that were not mine to make. But, when it came to the choice of giving her a dignified peaceful end or letting her live out her last days in pain and misery, I knew which option was right. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Often times I think that people with the labels, 'Kind' and 'Gentle' are thought of as 'meek' and 'mild'. This is not the case. It is often the right behaviour to be kind but not always the easy behaviour. It can take a lot of strength to be kind and gentle when you may well be feeling quite the opposite.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Next time you feel yourself seeing red over something small or you feel like going gaga at the woman who nabbed your parking space when you were clearly indicating for it, take a moment and breath. Choose kind. If you're a pet owner or cat lover, I'm sure you'll understand that a pet becomes a huge part of your life and you love them like you love your children.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I did start my look, I got all the way to eyeshadow and just thought, 'Why am I forcing myself to do this? I'm not a robot, I'm not a slave to my blog, I'm a human and I have feelings and a real life and I don't need to do this if my heart isn't in it'.
